Thi Nguyen

Thi is pursuing a combined PhD in Film & Media Studies and American Studies. Their research traces the processes in which the Vietnamese modern script, communication networks, media objects, and the writing/typing body coevolve through time. Born and raised in Saigon, Thi writes and translates in between Vietnamese and English. Their works have appeared in Modern Poetry in Translation, Saigoneer, diaCRITICS (the Diasporic Vietnamese Artists Network), Asian American Writers’ Workshop and collections published by Penguin Random House Southeast Asia, among other venues.
