Katherine Ponds
Graduate School Student
Katherine is a doctoral student in African American and American Studies. Her research explores the interplay between African-American literature and the classical tradition. Katherine graduated cum laude from Amherst College in 2015, having double-majored in Black Studies and Classics. She then went on to Georgetown University’s post-baccalaureate program in Classics, before earning her master’s degree in African American Studies at Columbia University.
