Jack Davis
Graduate Student
Jack Davis is a writer, artist, and scholar researching movement across aesthetics and political economy. He previously studied at the New School, earning a B.F.A. in fashion design from Parsons School of Design in 2021, where his undergraduate thesis work explored the 2008 financial crash through a cultural genealogy of the subprime mortgage. His current research project concerns formal crises of value in the stagflation episodes and dematerialized aesthetics which surrounded the fall of the Bretton Woods monetary system.
