Betsy Beasley

Betsy A. Beasley is completing her dissertation, Exporting Service: Houston and the Globalization of Oil Expertise, 1945-2008. Her research interests include the history of capitalism, the history of the U.S. and the world, urban studies, and gender and sexuality studies. Drawing from history, geography, and urban theory, her scholarship focuses on the intersections between U.S. labor history and the expansion of U.S. global power.  Read more about her work here.
