The Public Humanities Working Group is an interdisciplinary community of graduate students who collaborate in the planning and implementation of various public-minded lectures, performances, conversations, and other events on campus and in New Haven neighborhoods. As an offshoot of the Public Humanities Program at Yale, the working group is dedicated to defining, questioning, and encouraging conversations and partnerships beyond the classroom. Areas of interest include museum work, documentary film and photography, digital humanities, oral/community history, and public education.
