Congratulations to American Studies doctoral student Isra Syed, who has published a new research article in the Journal of the American Academy of Religion. Syed’s article, titled “Religiously Grounded: Muslim Legal Subjectivity in the ‘Navigating Differences’ Letter,” was published in the June 2025 issue and the abstract is viewable here.
