Tina Post (joint with African American Studies) received her BA from Wells College and her MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Alaska Anchorage. Her dissertation, “Deadpan Aesthetics in Black Expressive Culture,” explores performances of expressionlessness, inscrutability, and affective withholding in African American arts and culture. She has published literary essays in Stone Canoe and The Appendix, and scholarly work in TDR and International Review of African American Art.
