Juliet received her B.A. in Sociology and American Studies with high honors from Wesleyan University.  Her dissertation, “Settler Militarism: World War II in Hawai‘i and the Making of Transpacific Empire,” explores the interconnected regimes of settler colonialism and military occupation in Hawai‘i during the Pacific War through narratives of health, education, domesticity, internment, and the landscape.
