Clara Wilson-Hawken (joint with African American Studies) graduated cum laude from Princeton University in 2015 with a B.A. in English and a certificate in African American Studies. Her research questions center on the relationship between labor, working-class activism, and African American cultural production from the early twentieth century through the 1950s. Specifically, she is interested in undervalued women’s labor and its place within U.S. social movements, urban spaces, and various forms of literary and musical production.
