Camille Owens (joint with African American Studies) received an A.B. summa cum laude in History & Literature and The Studies of Women, Gender, and Sexuality from Harvard in 2013. Her research questions center on race, gender, disability, and constructions of American childhood in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. She is interested in theater and performance, material and visual culture, histories of capitalism and imperialism, and representations of black families.
