Megan Asaka recipient of the W. Turrentine Jackson Dissertation Award

Congratulations to Megan Asaka (PhD 2014) for her outstanding dissertation, “The Unsettled City: Migration, Race, and the Making of Seattle’s Urban Landscape” in winning the W. Turrentine Jackson Dissertation Award.  The award is given to the most outstanding dissertation on any aspect of the history of the American West in the twentieth century.  Megan received the award at this year’s annual meeting of the American Historical Association, Pacific Coast Branch.
